Summoning all Hearthstone players in Malaysia to join the team of Animangaki for the upcoming event on Hearthstone Fireside Gathering and Tournament. Fireside Gathering allows you to get together with friends old and new to play Hearthstone in public gathering spots and you are also able to unlock a special card back when you have more than 3 players on the same network and play more than 3 games with the same player.
At the Fireside gathering, you are also able to know more friends to discuss the expansion, latest decks and expansion which might bring you to Legendary rank as soon as you get all these tips. All players will be invited to join the first AMG HS Tournament regardless you are a newbie or a pro player and the registration fee for it is free. There will be Let’s Play that will prioritize new players, to ensure you are not left out on the fun during the Fireside Gathering.
In other hand, the Hearthstone tournament will start from 29 till 30 August, with the prizes worth RM 2,000. The format of the tournament will be divided into 2 stages – round robin and top 16. The stage of the round robin will be happening on 29 August with 32 players divided into 4 groups – Group Antonidas, Group Baron Geddon, Group Cenarius and Group Deathwing. Players will require to play a best of 1 within their respective groups with 3 decks and can be reuse all 3 decks any number of times in Round Robbin and all these top 4 of each group will advance to the Top 16 bracket. On the next day will be Top 16 bracket tournament which uses conquest format by allowing players to play a best of 5 with single elimination, then the winner will be crowned on the same day.
The grand prize will be USD 100 worth Battle.net cash, Cooler Master Suppressor and a Goodies Bag, which the second prize will receive a USD 20 worth Battle.net cash, Cooler Master Devastator and Goodies Bag and the third place will receive a Cooler Master Devastator and Goodie bag.
