Still complaining that there’s no movie booking app in your Windows Phone? GSC Cinemas, Malaysia’s largest cinema chain has turned the switch on its brand new GSC Cinema booking app on the Windows Phone store, users who are using devices running Windows Phone 8/8.1 can now download the app and start booking tickets away. The app is unfortunately not available on the PC/Windows RT Windows Store if you are thinking of universal app support.
First look at the GSC Cinema app shows us a pretty elegant looking user interface, you can check out the latest movies, select your cinema, book your tickets and pay using your credit card or Maybank2U account. The overall feel of the app feels extremely elegant and you will definitely enjoy the smoothness that you can’t find on the company’s Android app. Best of all, you can check out show times even faster with the apps speech feature, in which you can just say for instance “Annabelle at Mid Valley on Friday”, pretty cool feature if you are just lazy to scroll through a list of cinemas and showtimes.
