Looks like Google has finally realized that Google+ won’t be replacing popular social media networks like Facebook, however, they have instead redesigned and simplified Google+ to cater for its main users – communities. Google+ users tend to use this platform to share information and talk about specific topics, with Communities and Collections being the forefront of that. Whether you like Astrophotography or Teddy Bears, there is a community for you to share and discover your passion.

Now, what is Google revamping? Well, they’ve drastically simplified every aspect of Google+, focusing its navigation around Collections and Communities. Not only have they done a redesign these two sections, it is also now easier to post, search, connect, and keep up with your favorite content in a redesigned home stream. On top of that, the new web experience will load faster and work as well on all devices of various sizes.

To preview the new Google+ on the web today, just sign into your Google+ account and click on “Let’s Go” when you see the prompt. Do note that not all features in Google+ have been updated yet, so you can actually toggle back to the classic Google+ design with one click. As for iOS and Android versions, Google will be rolling out the updated apps in the next few days.
