Google Maps for iOS has received a few new features recently, key among them being the ability to look up gas price along the route you’re travelling on.
Rolling out in the United States and Canada, users are now able to receive gas prices of various gas station along the way. At any point in time, users can tap on a gas station to get a much more detailed look at the gas prices for that particular station.
Understandably, this new feature has very limited usage in Malaysia as gas price are more or less fixed from one gas station to another, unlike the US where gas prices fluctuate from region to region.
Regardless, this feature is one of many new features that Google has introduced to Google Maps. Just last month, Google has introduced offline search and navigation to Google Map.
Suffice to say, at the rate Google Maps is going, we can expect another new feature within the next 2 months.
