After the exclusive launch at China of the HTC One X9 last December, the device has finally made its appearance as MWC as a global variant.

The HTC One X9 is largely similar to the HTC One A9 in terms of design. The One X9 sports a metal body with curved edges. On the front is a 5.5 inch 1080p Super LCD display with HTC’s Boom Sound speakers located above and below the display. The look of the speakers however, slightly differ from the ones on HTC’s flagship One M line. Apart from that, HTC has also included capacitive buttons right below the display.

The One X9 is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU alongside 3GB of RAM. It also packs 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 200GB via micro SD. A 3,000mAh battery lies underneath the hood of the One X9. On the camera side, the device features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a standard 5MP selfie shooter.

HTC hasn’t revealed a release date for the One X9 and its price, but this handset is one to tinker with before HTC’s next flagship is revealed. What do you think? Tell us your thoughts!
