Question of the day: How many luggages or how big of a luggage would you bring on a month-long holiday? What if it was only a week-long? How about a business trip? Backpacking? It’s pretty obvious that our answer here would depend on the length of the trip and often times, we would find ourselves lugging around more than necessary luggages or trying to squish all our purchases from a little shopping spree when packing to return home.
However, with THIS luggage suitcase, all of that will forever be left in the past! Enter the Fugu Luggage case – Inspired by the puffer fish (fugu in Japanese), this luggage suitcase is able to expand its size thanks to its built-in electric pump which makes it a unique one-of-a-kind suitcase that effortlessly transforms from maximum carry-on size to maximum check-in size. The frequent traveller will be flailing in joy as the Fugu Luggage also comes equipped with foldable and removable shelves and a laptop case. The Fugu shelves enable travelers to leave their clothes in the suitcase as it doubles up as a storage unit, thus, eliminating the need to unpack and repack.
Due to its non-conventional height and width, the Fugu Luggage can also triple up as a portable table! Talk about functionality. Size and dimensions when in compact and expanded mode are also FAA-compliant.
The Fugu Luggage is designed to be compact and able to withstand high external force acting on it thanks to it being built on the “same material as surf boards”, said Isaac Atlas – Inventor, Founder & Industrial Designer of Fugu Luggage. It also comes with an attractive array of colors to choose from.
This is a Kickstarter funded project, hence, there is approximately a month to go as of the date of this write-up for it be funded although it has already reached its $50, 000 target.
