It’s rather a quiet week for ASUS because they introduced most of their Zenfones that already has a pretty strong lineup. The ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe is a buff up version of the Zenfone 2 from earlier this year while the Zenfone 2 laser is a version of the 5-inch model that will come with a better camera performance. Apparently, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe stands out with its curious “premium-crafted polygonal design” that looks like Oppo R1X, but it features 500+ triangles joined together for a “crystal miracle.”

Other than that, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe is still a dual-SIM phone with 5.5-inch with a 1080p screen (Gorilla Glass 3 on top) and is powered by the same Intel Atom chipsets of Z3560 and Z3580. However, this time both feature 4GB RAM which previously the older model had paired the Z3560 with 3GB RAM. The company also add another improvement on its base storage which has 64 GB and 128 GB variants then you are still able to add another 128 GB with a microSD card. Unfortunately, the device camera will remain the same but for video capture might be jack up to 1080p.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser in the other hand, it features a 5-inch with a 720p screen (Gorilla Glass 3 on top) that is more compact than its 5.5-inch siblings. But, the device unlike the predecessor that is using Intel Atom processors because the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB or 16 GB of storage but still able to expandable. Now the camera has 13 MP which upgrade from 8 MP, and it’s able to extend up to 52 MP with Super Resolution mode. The name appears to show us there will be laser autofocus on the main camera which has a f/2.0 aperture while the 5MP that been upgrade from 2 MP and it has a wide-angle 85-degree lens with f/2.0 aperture. ASUS claim the laser autofocus system promises focus locks in 0.3s and works even for macros.

The price and availability for these devices will unveil soon when we get the latest news from ASUS, stay tuned for further updates.
