ARCHOS has announced that they will be adding a new device to their Diamond lineup, called the Diamond Note 2. According to ARCHOS, the device will “shake up the mobile market”. Without further ado, let’s dive into the specs to see how the Diamond Note 2 fares up.

The ARCHOS Diamond Note 2 sports a larger than usual 6 inch LCD screen in QHD resolution. ARCHOS claims that the 6 inch display is fitted into a standard 5.5 inch smartphone form factor. Also featured is a 16MP rear camera with 4K support and an impressive wide angle 8MP front facing shooter. Not forgetting, a fingerprint sensor which is becoming quite the norm in many smartphones.

Under the hood lies Mediatek’s 4G octo-core Helio X10 CPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via the Diamond Note 2’s hybrid SIM and SD card slot. The 3610mAh battery supports fast charging and can be juiced up to 80% in 45 minutes. On the software side, the Diamond Note 2 operates on Android Marshmallow 6.0.
