Apple updates Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor video editing suite

Shortly after releasing the update for OS X 10.10.3, Apple updates its suite of creative software – Final Cut Pro 10.2, Motion 5.2 and Compressor 4.2, the updates Apple has brought to these three software brings significant improvements on performance and new features for content creators.

Final Cut Pro 10.2 introduces a new collection of easy to use 3D titles with improved masking for colour grading and effect as well as native support for more camera format, the new GPU-accelerated RED RAW processing will also improve rendering time and performance on discrete graphics.

On the other hand, Motion 5.2 introduces the ability to create custom materials and environments and is able to publish instantly over to Final Cut Pro X while Compressor will make your content easier to package a movie for sale on the iTunes Store, according to Apple.

With these new updates, content creators will be able to leverage on the benefits to create better video content yet saving time with improved GPU acceleration. Prices of Final Cut Pro 10.2, Motion 5.2 and Compressor 5.2 remains unchanged on the Apple App Store for SGD$368.98, $64.98 and $63.98 respectively to new users, while the new update is free for existing customers.
