Android Pay has been stepping up its game lately, with various efforts to expand on its availability. Although the contactless payment method by Google hasn’t been made available in Malaysia, Google has partnered up with numerous banks from select regions, plus improvement of integration with certain mobile bank apps for easier use of cards with Android Pay.

Google has announced a new partnership which will potentially bring Android Pay to the next level. This time, it is with PayPal, probably the most popular online payment system around. Honestly, it would be a shame if these two platforms weren’t united. Since PayPal already has millions on its userbase, the payment system can soon be linked to be used with Android Pay. This means that on top of bank cards, you will soon be able to use your PayPal account to make payments via Android Pay.

Google has stated that users can expect the new feature to arrive within the next few weeks, at least for the US region. Soon, users will be able to tap and pay using their PayPal account. What do you think?
