ADATA technology is one of the world’s leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules and NAND flash products proud to announces the Premier SP550 SSD, which uses triple-level cell (TLC) architecture to offer an affordable SSD without compromising performance. The Premier SP 550 will be the first ADATA drive to include the silicon motion (SMI) SM 2256 controller that uses NANDXtend technology to help ADATA implement SSD technologies such as data protection, stability and reliability.

The Premier SP 550 uses TLC flash and the latest SMI controller as a great upgrade solution with a superior cost-performance ratio. The SSDs features outstanding durability, as indicated by higher total bytes written (TBW) ratings that has the number of times a drive can write a specified capacity in one lifespan. Besides that, the Premier SP550 has SLC caching for faster read/write performance when needed.

In addition, the SSD has low-density parity check error correction or LDPC ECC, data errors are minimized and SSD life is extended. There will be smart data shaping that allow users to maintain consistent operation and prevents NAND flash wear by evenly distributing drive loads while a RAID engine boosts data reliability. The company also include a bundled software that enables quick data migration to new systems; Acronis True Image HD and they also has ADATA Toolbox software includes utilities to monitor and manage the SSD, with drive status, wear level, and lifespan info.

The price and availability apparently haven’t unveiled at the moment, we will updates the latest news as soon as we got the latest news.
