Acer, leading technology manufacturer, adds the all new Predator XB271HU display to its high-end gaming monitor line up. Featuring NVIDIA G-Sync, the 27-inch gaming monitor offers refresh rates up to 165 Hz. It remains sleek with a near-frame-less design, referred to as “Zero Frame Design” by Acer, and a red black themed stand allowing height, tilt, swivel and rotation adjustments for the best gaming orientation.
The IPS display panel has WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, with a small response time of 4 ms and maximum brightness of 350 cd/m². Acer has also introduced the XB271HK, making it the 4K Ultra HD IPS panel running 60 Hz version of the XB271HU, for those who prefer the higher resolution option. It also offers the similar 4 ms response time and a slightly less brightness of 300 cd/m². Nevertheless, it also features G-Sync adaptive-sync tech made possible with input from DIsplayPort 1.2 connectors.
The XB271HU is priced at $799 (RM3,400) and the XB271HK at about $100 extra, $899 (RM3,800). It will be available in the US at the end of November followed by European and Asian countries.
