A badly burnt Galaxy Note 7 shows up in a series of images

China has always been the land where any tragedy seemed possible to occur. Any Tom, Dick and Harry would have come across stories of exploding phones, charging adapters and power banks, causing injuries which are usually not joking matters. Just recently, a bunch of images have shown up on Chinese social networking site Baidu, of a fried Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

The Galaxy Note 7 has reportedly caught fire while it was being charged, having looked like it was dipped in scorching hot oil for a deep fry. As badly damaged as it looks, do shift your focus to the USB charging cable, which isn’t of Samsung’s, fitted with a Samsung USB Type-C adapter for charging. The power adapter, which isn’t shown in the images, is likely to be a third party one as well, since that’s how accidents like this occur in the first place.

Korean manufacturer Samsung will probably not get into any trouble for this incident, as the company, including many major smartphone manufacturers has advised consumers to use original adapters and charging cables, if not, authorized third party versions. Once again, this is probably one of the many cases that happens only in mainland China. Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
