Xiaomi has always been known for boasting its sales figures of its various handsets. The company is also famous for its sell out flash sales, which have significantly contributed to its worldwide popularity as well, especially in the Asian region. Xiaomi recently had its phones sold in conjunction with a huge sale in India, and the figures are through the roof.
Xiaomi has recorded more than 1 million smartphones sold throughout the sale in India via a couple of online retailers. Among those are the more notable ones such as Amazon and Flipkart. The 1+ million smartphones sold were in 48 hours, which is quite the impressive feat for Xiaomi.
A few of Xiaomi’s handsets were discounted slightly on both retailers. The Chinese manufacturer has also indicated on its Twitter post that the Redmi Note 4 was the best selling smartphone throughout the sale period.
Xiaomi continues to make strides with its previous launch of the Mi Note 3 and the Mi MIX 2. The upcoming Redmi 5 Plus is also slated for an unveiling really soon with its box emerging on the interwebs. What do you think?
