Most smartphone companies won’t be happy if leaks of their upcoming products have been leaked in the wild, however that has not been the case with Oppo itself, the kind folks over at Oppo dropped us a kind e-mail with the recent leaks of the next super slim smartphone – the Oppo R7.
Oppo didn’t spill too much beans on the R7 of course but we are already expecting some continuation of features from the super slim Oppo R5, the new phone will apparently still have a super slim body and comes with Oppo’s fast VOOC Rapid Charge Technology, however the thing that’s new on the R7 would be the phone’s 2.5D glass display and a flat camera module, which will make the phone a totally slim and much premium device.
Judging from the design itself, the Oppo R7 seems to have taken some design cues off Sony’s XPERIA smartphones, let’s hope that this time Oppo includes some better hardware on the new phone such as MicroSD expansion and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which the current Oppo R5 lacks. Oh Oppo, you are such a bad teaser.
