Teclast has just announced the X98 Pro, a Windows 10 tablet based on Intel’s latest Cherry Trail platform that boasts some decent hardware specifications, as you may all know Teclast have been making a number of high quality and affordable tablets in the past, it isn’t resting on its laurels with the X98 Pro. In terms of design, the tablet looks just like the X98 Air 3G that we’ve previewed on a couple of months back, powering the device is a Intel Atom x5-8500 SoC mated to 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, thetablet has 64GB of onboard stoarge with support for expandable memory, a gorgeous 9.7-inch 2048×1536 resolution display, a 5-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel front camera, a Micro HDMI port and an 8000mAh battery.

At the price of $270 or lower, the X98 Pro is an attractive buy if you are considering to own a tablet that runs Windows 10, its hardware configuration matches very closely with the base model of Microsoft’s Surface 3 and has a much higher resolution display than the latter. The Teclast X98 Pro is currently available for preorders over at Aliexpress and GeekBuying, so head on over there to place one unit or simply wait for our folks at Teclast Malaysia to bring over this device.
