With Samsung and LG using TIZEN and WebOS respectively on their Smart TVs, its time for Sony to make way for its Android powered BRAVIA televisions into Malaysia next week, announced back in CES 2015, the new Sony BRAVIA Android TVs comes with the company’s stunning 4K resolution display panel and available up to 55-inches, Sony is also the first manufacturer to ever feature Google’s native Android TV software in Malaysia, this definitely isn’t some Android 4.4 KitKat interface that you find on some other Smart TVs today.

While Android TV brings many useful features to the table such as being able to control your TV at the comfort of your Androidsmartphone or Android Wear devices, one vital feature would be Google Play Movies and Play Music, which will allow users to be able to rent, purchase and stream content from Mountain View’s content service, while we also expect some apps that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, Sony’s effort in introducing its new BRAVIA Android TVs could actually mean bringing Google’s complete ecosystem into Malaysia.

Will Sony Malaysia reveal surprises that Google is offering in Malaysia? We shall find out next week when we meet the country’s first Android TVs.
