Ever wanted to study video games at school? Well, a public high school in Norway is doing just that as the school intends to implement an e-sports course into its curriculum starting in August.

According to the school, this new e-sports class will split students up into 2 groups of 15 people, one group will be performing 90 minutes of physical training which will focus on reflexes, strength and endurance; while the other group will be playing the games. In an interview with Dotablast, the head of the school’s science department, Petter Grahl Johnstad, says that students will be graded based on their game knowledge, skills, co-operation, communication and tactical ability.

To facilitate the program, the school will be providing gaming chairs and high-end gaming PCs with Nvidia GeForce GTX 980Ti graphics cards. While the school has yet to decide on which game the students will have to study, the choices that are up for consideration include Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter Strike : Global Offensive, and StarCraft II.
