Microsoft Devices introduces the Lumia 730 Dual SIM, Lumia 735 and Lumia 830

With cheap and powerful smartphones dominating the market, Microsoft Devices certainly have a strategy to overcome that and has introduced the Lumia 730 Dual SIM, Lumia 735 and Lumia 830 at IFA 2014 in Berlin.

The Lumia 730 is a dual SIM smartphone that is built for Skype and selfies with its wide angle 5-Megapixel front facing camera, the phone has a 4.7-inch 720p display, 6.7 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and processing power is done by a Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core CPU with 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of internal storage while supporting MicroSD memory expansion.

If you don’t need a dual SIM option, the Lumia 735 is has the similar cameras and hardware internals onboard with LTE support and wireless charging, both the Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 735 will come with 15GB of free OneDrive storage, 2220mAh battery and is priced around 199 Euros and 219 Euros before taxes respectively.

The Lumia 830 continues Nokia’s mantra of making an affordable flagship smartphone since the Lumia 820, it features a 10 Megapixel Pureview main camera with the thinnest optical image stabilization to date on a Lumia. It has a 5-inch 720p IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a curved 2.25D glass, Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core processor, 2200mAh battery supporting Qi wireless charging and comes with 16GB internal storage expandable via MicroSD memory. The front facing camera of the Lumia830 is limited to 1 Megapixel. Similar to its lower end sibling, the Lumia 830 will come with 15GB of free OneDrive storage and priced around 330 Euros before taxes.

All of these phones will come with the Lumia Cyan Update and Windows 8.1.1, which introduces a faster system performance and camera startup speed, 4K video recording support, auto HDR, dynamic flash and improved low light shooting algorithms. The Lumia Denim update will also reach current flagships such as the Lumia 930, Lumia Icon and Lumia 1520 as an OTA update in Q4 2014.

The newly announced Lumia smartphones are expected to ship by end of September.
