Few days ago, Meizu has announced two big events scheduled for June, which the company is expected to unveil the MX5 and probably the Meizu M1 Note 2 FHD edition. According to reports from GizmoChina, new rumours have surfaced and we have more details about the MX5.

The Meizu MX5 is expected to feature a fingerprint scanner similar to the Meizu M1 Note 2. In addition, the body of the MX5 will be made out of metal instead of plastic used in the earlier generation. Given that most flagships are moving forward to this direction, it definitely doesn’t come as a surprise.

On the other hand the M1 Note 2 FHD edition’s overall design and aesthetics are expected to be the same as the original M1 Note including its hardware internals, such as the MediaTek MT6752 processor and 2GB RAM. The M1 Note 2 FHD is expected to release on June 2 while the MX5 is expected to be announced at a separate event on June 30. We are just a few weeks away from the coming month and it sure is an exciting period for the smartphone industry
