LG has always been an underdog in the industry that tends to manufacture darn good smartphones and this year, we are definitely expecting more from the company’s flagship after the success of the G3 even though it arrived really late in our market officially. Unlike Samsung, LG does have its own capability of making its own camera optics and has produced the widest aperture 16-megapixel f/1.8 sensor for its upcoming LG G4 flagship, it is also reported the an 8-megapixel front camera sensor would be in place as well, such camera setup will definitely give phones such as the Xiaomi Mi 4, Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 a good run for its money since LG is really including some really high end camera optics on a smartphone.

The LG G4 is expected to launch this April 28th and is expected to sport a 5.5-inch QHD resolution display and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, with these camera setup in place we should definitely see the G4 as a serious contender in the market and only its pricing will tell if it is on par with its competition.
