Love a smartwatch? Like the Huawei Watch? But if your wallet objects, then maybe you would want to check this out instead. The Mlais smartwatch will cost USD123 when it becomes available on Gear Best. The watch features a 316L stainless steel case and genuine leather band (metal straps are available as well). The screen is a 1.3-inch TFT with 360×360 px resolution (276ppi), but there aren’t any information about the glass.
The Mlais smartwatch is water resistant to an unspecified rating, and it’s powered by MediaTek’s wearable chipset, the MT2601 with a dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. The watch runs Android 5.1 which will be the base for Android Wear instead of full-blown Android. But, the battery is pleasantly big at 400mAh (which promises 2-days standby) and you get a heart rate monitor with the superb price. It supports Wi-Fi connectivity, but does not come with GPS support.
