Unlike some folks out there, I’m one of the few that personally appreciates what HTC’s camera can do when compared to other smartphones out there, the One M9’s camera might not sound as if it could beat the rest of the competition but it is still undoubtedly a great camera from the company itself.
HTC has released a new update to its HTC Camera app which supports one feature that professionals will love – saving uncompressed RAW images. This feature is unfortunately exclusive for the HTC One M9 and possible the One M9+, which makes a lot of sense since most photographers will only shoot RAW images in a high image resolution, the One M8 on the other hand only takes 4-megapixel of footage with its Ultrapixel camera.
If you have purchased a One M9+ recently, head on to the Google Play Store and update the HTC Camera app, the feature should be there since the One M9+ shares the very same camera optics as the One M9.
