IFA 2015 just a few hours away from now, Archos has yet announced another new smartphone. The company just begins to look into the fabled territory by releasing two different devices bridging the gap between the 5-inch Diamond in fact, bridging the gap between the 5-inch Diamond S and the Diamond Tab.
The Archos Diamond Plus has a 5.5-inch with 1080p resolution, a 16 MP rear camera with LED flash, an 8 MP selfie snapper, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 4G LTE support, dual-SIM functionality, and a 2,800 mAh battery with fast charging. The Diamond Plus will come with MediaTek MT6753 64-bit SoC with a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720MP3 GPU.
From the front look of the phone does look like an iPhone, but it doesn’t have any physical button at the front. Besides that, behind the phone actually looks like the back of Oppo R7 and Huawei Honor Mate 7 (without fingerprint sensor). On the right has a volume rocker and might be a power button or a camera button because on the left there is another button looks like a power button together with the slot for the SIM card and memory card slot.
This smartphone will be available in November without any SIM restriction and will retail with the price of £179.99 (approx. RM 840).
