Amazon Echo has yet again added in a new product from their company, and this time it comes in the form of the legendary “Big Mouth Billy Bass”, the talking and singing fish that people used to love buying and hanging on the walls for entertainment purposes.

The new product is Alexa-enabled, which means you’re able to use the Big Mouth Billy Bass like how you would use Alexa on your Amazon Echo device. Speaking of Amazon Echo devices, you would need to connect the Alexa-enabled Billy Bass to an existing Echo device for it to work. Once its hooked up, you’ll be able to access it and use it for your usual task such as setting timers, playing music, and answering basic inquiries.

According to The Verge, “This gadget has been a long time coming. A developer named Brian Kane first came up with the idea of hacking a Billy Bass to connect to Alexa’s API in 2016, before, in 2017, the makers of the fishy ornament said they were going to make Kane’s idea real. More than a year later, the product is available for preorder, complete with an official “Alexa Gadget” certification.”

The Alexa-enabled Big Mouth Billy Bass is now available for preorder  on Amazon and its priced at $40 (RM167.52).
