Samsung Malaysia has brought in a new soundbar and Blu-ray 4K player that is specially catered to audiophiles and movie buffs to give them a more immersive experience when it comes to audio and video all from the comfort of their homes.
The Soundbar Sound+ offers a rich and immersive surround sound environment thanks to the 5 channel which boast a total of 11 speaker units, each with dedicated amplifiers which includes 3 wide-range tweeters, 6 woofers and 2 verticle wide-range tweeters. The vertice tweeters will project audio vertically to expand the sound making it feel like you are watching content on a bigger screen then you have. The also feature Height Channel Up-mix technology, allowing you to experience 3D sound like a bird flying over you or rain coming from above.
The soundbar also supports audio upscaling which will do its best to convert the audio output to a UHD 32-bit audio, giving a more crisp sound and getting it close to the original source as possible. This is complemented with the Distortion Cancelling Technology which will predict distortion at the end of the speaker movement and pre-adjusting it to giving the lows a smooth and distortion-free audio. The soundbar also has a smart audio mode where it can detect the type of content that it is playing and tune the audio settings accordingly.
The Soundbar is also designed clutter-free as possible, by allowing you to connect it directly to a supported Samsung TV to power it rather than having two power cables, one for the TV and one for the soundbar. This is achieved through Samsung One Mount Kit, where users can mount the TV and soundbar to a wall without drilling any holes into the wall.
The Soundbar Sound+ is currently available at all Samsung Brand Stores and authorised dealers nationwide with a recommended retail price of RM3,499.
