Its that time of the year again for Apple users, shortly after iOS 12 was released, Apple has finally made macOS Mojave available for download starting today for Macs introduced mid-2012, 2010 and 2012 Mac Pro models with recommended Metal-capable graphics cards.

macOS Mojave is the largest OS update that Apple has ever introduced in years and introduces a significant improvement in user experience. Apps from iOS such as Stocks, Voice Memos and Home have been ported over to the desktop operating system, and the newly redesigned Mac App Store now has the same experience you have on iOS devices with rich editorial content and recommendations.

Productivity workflow has also been enhanced in macOS Mojave, things such as Stacks keeps your desktop icons clean with neat groups based on the file types, the new Finder features a new gallery view that lets you preview at files visually and quick actions that lets you do things such as create and password-protect PDFs, and taking Screenshots is now even better with new video recording capabilities, which is accessible by pressing the shift-command-5 key combo.

Continuity with iOS devices have also been improved, as macOS Mojave will now be able to extract images and documents taken with the iPhone’s camera, the feature is supported on the “Import From” feature on Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Notes, Mail and other supported apps.

Other features of macOS Mojave includes app permission controls, a new Intelligent Tracking Prevention in Safari the helps prevent unauthorized social media “Like” and “Share” buttons tracking, while Siri now has improved knowledge of food, celebrities and motorsports.
