U Mobile has officially introduced a new portfolio of ULTRA5G solutions for both consumers and enterprises, marking what the company describes as its most comprehensive product lineup yet. Built on its next-generation AI-powered 5G-SA network, the new offerings are designed to deliver faster speeds, stronger reliability, built-in security and more differentiated connectivity experiences for Malaysians at home, on the move and at work.

The launch covers prepaid, postpaid and business offerings, with U Mobile positioning the new suite around several industry-first features including ULTRA5G Priority Pass for consumers and ULTRA5G Reserve for enterprises. Together, these new services reflect the telco’s ambition to translate network advantages into practical benefits for everyday users, families, travellers and businesses.

ULTRA Prepaid and Postpaid Built for Today’s Usage

According to U Mobile, its new prepaid and postpaid plans are designed around how Malaysians now use mobile connectivity, with rising demand for speed, generous data quotas, stronger coverage in crowded areas and improved protection against cyber threats.

For prepaid users, U Mobile says its new ULTRA Prepaid SIM Pack now includes unlimited-speed data, unlimited calls and free hotspot usage for RM10. Beyond that, ULTRA Prepaid Data Plans now offer up to 500GB of data at unlimited speed starting from RM28, giving heavy users more room for streaming, social media and daily productivity.

A major new addition is the ULTRA5G Priority Pass, which allows users to activate prioritised network access during congestion-heavy scenarios such as concerts, malls, transport hubs and major events. The feature is available as an on-demand add-on, priced from RM2 for one hour and RM5 for three hours. U Mobile is also integrating built-in ULTRA Security features into prepaid, offering protection against phishing SMS, scam calls and risky websites.

For postpaid customers, U Mobile is raising the bar further with plans that offer up to 1,000GB of data and 15GB of global roaming data at no additional cost. The company says this gives it a stronger edge for frequent travellers who need reliable connectivity overseas. The ULTRA Family 128 plan stands out in particular, bundling four shareable lines, 1,000GB of shared data, 15GB of shareable global roaming across more than 60 destinations and 12 ULTRA5G Priority Passes each month.

Postpaid users also benefit from built-in network-level protection against phishing SMS, scam calls and unsafe websites, while higher-tier plans add paid protection against identity theft, malware and cyber fraud insurance. U Mobile is also extending ULTRA WatchShare support to Apple Watch in addition to Samsung and Huawei wearables, with six months of complimentary access for customers who activate with an Apple Watch. For ULTRA Family 128 users, the company is also offering a Buy 1 Free 1 5G phone promotion, strengthening its push for family-oriented value.

To encourage more users to experience its ULTRA5G service, U Mobile is also offering a complimentary seven-day trial that includes 10GB of ultra-fast 5G data and free calls to all networks on eSIM-compatible devices.

Enterprise Plans Introduce ULTRA5G Reserve

On the enterprise side, U Mobile has launched a completely new ULTRA Business portfolio aimed at redefining business connectivity with performance prioritisation at its core. The centrepiece of this strategy is ULTRA5G Reserve, which the company describes as Malaysia’s first dedicated network priority solution for enterprises.

ULTRA5G Reserve ensures enterprise traffic is prioritised over regular network traffic, delivering up to four times better performance during busy periods. This prioritisation is also reflected visibly on supported devices, where the network identifier will display “ULTRA5G RESERVE” instead of the standard ULTRA5G label.

The new ULTRA Business postpaid plans include enterprise-grade data packages of up to 2,000GB, unlimited calls and SMS, built-in intelligent security and seamless premium roaming across 60 destinations through Tier-1 network partners. U Mobile says the plans are designed around three core business requirements: guaranteed network priority, borderless connectivity and integrated protection against increasingly costly cyberattacks.

Another key advantage is that these enterprise plans include a free 5G device and device SIM, reducing the barriers for workforce digitalisation and helping businesses improve productivity from day one.

Expanding Beyond Mobile Connectivity

Beyond mobile plans, U Mobile is also broadening its enterprise portfolio with a wider suite of products and services designed to support different business environments.

These include ULTRA Business WiFi, a plug-and-play wireless connectivity solution powered by ULTRA5G with no installation required; Business Fibre, offering scalable high-speed connectivity from 100Mbps up to 10Gbps; Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) for private symmetrical bandwidth and guaranteed performance; and ULTRA IoT, which supports connected operations through flexible usage models and shared data pools.

With this broader ecosystem, U Mobile is clearly positioning itself not just as a mobile provider, but as a full connectivity partner for enterprises seeking more integrated digital infrastructure.

Network Rollout and Security Positioning

All of U Mobile’s new ULTRA5G products and services run on the company’s next-generation AI-driven 5G-SA network. As of the end of March 2026, the telco says it has already reached 80 percent CoPA nationwide, three months ahead of schedule. This network foundation has helped it secure recognition as Malaysia’s Fastest 5G Network by Ookla and Best 5G Availability by Opensignal.

Security also remains a major pillar of the launch. U Mobile says it has already blocked more than 390 million scam attempts through network-level voice and SMS firewalls, and is on track to become the first telco in Malaysia to introduce infrastructure-level Security-as-a-Service.

With the launch of its new ULTRA5G portfolio, U Mobile is pushing beyond conventional mobile plans to offer a more layered value proposition built around prioritised access, built-in protection and performance-based differentiation. For both consumers and businesses, the company is making a clear statement that 5G is no longer just about faster speeds, but about delivering more reliable, secure and meaningful connectivity for the way Malaysians live and work today.
