Razer has introduced the Kiyo V2 Pro, a new professional webcam aimed at streamers, gamers and creators who want sharper video without moving to a DSLR or mirrorless camera setup. Its headline feature is 4K recording at 60 frames per second, backed by a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor for improved low-light capture.
4K 60fps with automatic framing
The Kiyo V2 Pro uses an 86-degree wide-angle lens designed to show more of a desk or gaming setup while keeping edge distortion under control. Razer says the webcam can dynamically pan, tilt and zoom through its software to keep the user centred as they move.
For inconsistent lighting, One-Click Image Enhancement automatically adjusts exposure, white balance and noise reduction. Ultra-High Dynamic Range is also included to retain more detail in bright highlights and darker areas, while manual controls let users tune colour, sharpness and other image settings.
Razer is bundling access to Camo Pro for additional features such as auto-framing and advanced webcam controls, although the company has not specified the subscription duration in its announcement.
A flexible mount and built-in privacy shutter
The webcam sits on a universal pivoting mount that works with monitors and tripods, giving creators more freedom to position it above a display or elsewhere in the room. A twist-operated privacy shutter is integrated into the camera for a physical way to block the lens when it is not in use.
The Razer Kiyo V2 Pro is available now through Razer.com, RazerStores and selected online retailers worldwide at US$299.99 or €319.99. Razer has not announced an official Malaysian price or named local retailers at the time of writing.
