Lenovo has released the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 in Malaysia with prices starting at RM3,999. The Android tablet is positioned as a portable creative workstation, pairing a large high-resolution screen with the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, keyboard support and Lenovo’s Tab Pen Pro 2.

Lenovo’s Malaysian product page lists a bundle with the All-in-One Clamshell Keyboard and Tab Pen Pro 2. Configurations can differ, so buyers should check the memory and storage attached to the RM3,999 starting price rather than assuming every advertised specification is included at that figure.

A 13-inch display aimed at creators

The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 is designed around pen input and a large 13-inch canvas.

The tablet uses a 13-inch LTPS display with a 3840×2560 resolution and a claimed peak brightness of 1,100 nits. Lenovo includes Dolby Vision support and positions the panel for drawing, editing and entertainment. Brightness, colour accuracy and pen response remain manufacturer specifications until independently tested.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite provides the processing power. One Malaysian listing shows 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, while other regional configurations use 8GB and 256GB. This makes the exact local SKU an important part of any price comparison.

Keyboard and pen turn it into a compact workstation

The clamshell keyboard and Tab Pen Pro 2 are central to Lenovo’s productivity pitch.

The keyboard gives the tablet a laptop-like layout, while the stylus is intended for handwriting, illustration and precise editing. Android applications still determine how close that experience comes to a conventional PC, particularly for professional creative software and file management.

Lenovo also highlights AI-assisted creative and communication features. Their usefulness can depend on software version, language, account requirements and connectivity, so the company’s demonstrations should not be treated as a guarantee for every workflow.

A large battery and six-speaker audio system

The rear design includes dual cameras and a clean Cosmic Blue finish.

A 12,700mAh battery supports 45W charging. The tablet also includes six speakers tuned by Harman Kardon with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a 13MP rear camera and front cameras for video calls and face unlock.

The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 is a compelling alternative for buyers who want a large Android tablet with its main input accessories included. At this price, however, it competes directly with established premium tablets and entry-level laptops, making long-term updates and desktop-class app support just as important as the hardware.
