HONOR has expanded its affordable device lineup in Malaysia with the new HONOR Pad X7b tablet, HONOR Earbuds 5e and HONOR Earbuds X10 Play. Announced on 30 October 2026, the three products target families and everyday users who want practical features without spending flagship-level money. The tablet starts from RM699, while the two wireless earbuds are priced at RM149 and RM49 respectively.

The Pad X7b is particularly interesting for parents looking for an inexpensive tablet with a dedicated children’s interface, parental controls and durability-focused hardware. Meanwhile, the new earbuds cater to different budgets, with the 5e focusing on active noise cancellation and the X10 Play prioritising long battery life at an unusually low price.

HONOR Pad X7b: A 9.7-inch tablet built with families in mind

The HONOR Pad X7b features a 9.7-inch LCD with a 2052 x 1152 resolution, which HONOR markets as a 2K Eye Comfort Display. Its official global specifications also list a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, giving it a little more display smoothness than the typical 60Hz budget tablet. Processing power comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 chipset, paired with 4GB of physical RAM, an additional 4GB through HONOR RAM Turbo and 128GB of storage.

HONOR has included several viewing features such as Dynamic Dimming, E-Book Mode and software-based blue-light reduction, alongside TÜV Rheinland low-blue-light and flicker-free certifications. These may be useful for reading and extended viewing, although certification does not remove the need for sensible screen-time habits.

The tablet also gets an 8,000mAh battery. HONOR claims up to 16 hours of local video playback and as much as 82 days of standby under its laboratory testing conditions, so actual endurance will depend on brightness, connectivity and what applications are running.

Kids Space adds parental controls and creative tools

One of the Pad X7b’s key selling points is HONOR Kids Space, which includes Kids Camera, Kids Canvas and Kids Recorder for taking pictures, drawing and making voice recordings. Parents can also manage screen time and content access, making the tablet easier to share with younger family members.

Durability is another focus. The Pad X7b has a metal unibody, secondary toughened glass and SGS 5-Star Certified Enhanced Drop and Crush Resistance. HONOR says it is designed to better withstand everyday knocks, but laboratory certification is not a guarantee that the tablet will survive every fall or that accidental damage is covered by warranty.

Both Malaysian configurations come in Space Gray with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Wi-Fi model costs RM699, while the LTE version costs RM799. Each includes a complimentary flip cover advertised as worth RM159. The tablet is available through HONOR Experience Stores, HONOR’s official online outlets and participating authorised retailers.

HONOR Earbuds 5e: Adaptive ANC for RM149

For users who want to block out surrounding noise while commuting or working, the HONOR Earbuds 5e bring multi-mode adaptive active noise cancellation with a manufacturer-claimed reduction of up to 52dB. A three-microphone call system uses AI-powered noise filtering to help keep speech understandable in busy environments.

The earbuds feature 12mm diamond-like coated drivers, LHDC 5.0 support, Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and Bluetooth 6.0. Of course, high-resolution codec compatibility depends on the connected device and source material, while actual audio and ANC performance will need hands-on testing.

HONOR quotes up to nine hours of listening on a charge with ANC switched off and up to 45 hours including the charging case. A 10-minute charge is claimed to provide three hours of playback. Other features include dual-device connectivity, wear detection, touch and swipe controls, IP54 dust and splash resistance, and an AI Interpreter feature supporting 15 languages. HONOR has not specified every supported translation language in the supplied Malaysian release.

The HONOR Earbuds 5e cost RM149 and come in White and Black. Unlike the Pad X7b, they are sold exclusively online through HONOR’s website and official Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop stores.

HONOR Earbuds X10 Play: RM49 entry-level audio with big battery claims

At RM49, the Earbuds X10 Play are aimed at buyers who simply want inexpensive everyday wireless audio. Each earbud weighs approximately 4.2g, while a 13mm driver with N52 neodymium magnets is designed to deliver energetic sound from a compact housing.

HONOR claims up to nine hours of listening per charge and up to 49 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute quick charge is said to provide another three hours of use. Dual-device connectivity, touch controls and AI-assisted call noise reduction are also included, although this model is not advertised as having the 5e’s active noise cancellation.

Available in White and Grey, the X10 Play are also exclusive to HONOR’s official online stores.

Which new HONOR device makes the most sense?

The Pad X7b could appeal to families looking for a compact tablet for educational content, entertainment and occasional travel, particularly with its LTE option and basic parental controls. The Earbuds 5e offer the stronger audio feature set for RM149, while the X10 Play are a much cheaper alternative for casual listening.

None of the products should be mistaken for high-end devices, and HONOR’s battery, durability and noise-cancellation claims still need independent testing. Nevertheless, with Malaysian prices starting as low as RM49, the new arrivals give buyers several accessible ways to expand their HONOR ecosystem.
