Why a proper render? We have to hand it over to popular tipster Evan Blass yet again, from his Twitter account. Thanks to him, we can now roughly picture the LG V20 in the wild, or rather, in a real world setting. The image above is a render of the upcoming LG V20, one of the many accurate renders of smartphones by Blass.
As perfect as the shot may seem, it’s rather hard to tell whether the LG V20 will have modular features like that of the LG G5. Nevertheless, at the top, we see a speaker grill amd the secondary ticker display with the front facing camera on the left. On the handset’s display, which had some parts blurred out for the sake of Blass’ anonymous source, seem pretty typical of LG’s UX topped with a flavor of Android Nougat 7.0. However, the “In Apps” icon is a mystery. It could be the app drawer icon, or a dedicated Google Apps drawer but we can’t be too certain about that.
As mentioned earlier, there seem to be no signs or buttons of a modular design like the G5 as seen from earlier leaks and renders. What we do know right now is the LG V20 will officially be the first smartphone ahead of the upcoming Nexus handsets to run Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box, as announced by Google. That’s not the only first, the V20 will also be featuring the world’s first 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio technology, coupled with LG’s collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, in which the phone will come with a pair of B&O Play earphones included. We shall just have to wait for the flagship’s launch on September 6th in San Francisco (September 7th in Seoul). What are your thoughts on the render of the LG V20 above?
