OnePlus unveils Bullets V2 earphones

by Reuben

As recently teased, OnePlus has finally announced their newest addition to the company’s small collection of smartphones and accessories. The Chinese manufacturer has introduced the successor to its Silver Bullets, the OnePlus Bullets V2.

Indeed, this pair of earphones is the “something special” OnePlus has announced in the earlier teaser video a couple of days back. OnePlus has claimed the Bullets V2 to be the perfect companion to its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 3, though it would’ve been nice if the earphones were included with the handset. Perhaps we might be seeing a special edition OnePlus 3 bundled with the Bullets V2 like how the company sold the OnePlus One JBL Edition back in 2014.

The OnePlus Bullets V2 was the result of a partnership between the Chinese startup and German audio techies LOFO, hence the earphones are fitted with a lightweight ARYPHAN polyarylate diaphragm, also known for its high vibration frequency. OnePlus claims the Bullets V2 to have been tuned and optimized better than the previous generation Silver Bullets, with a range improvement of bass, mids and trebles. The ear chambers have a boasted lightweight of 2 grams, and are fitted with anti-allergy silicone ear tips. As far as tangle-worry wires go, OnePlus has got that covered with the earphones sporting the company’s patented flat wire design. The Bullets V2 comes with the standard remote control with three buttons plus a microphone. The full specifications of the earphones can be found below:

The availability and pricing of the OnePlus Bullets V2 have yet to be announced. The product is apparently listed as “sold out” on OnePlus’ online store. What do you think about OnePlus’ attempt on refreshing a pair of earphones? Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
