Fitbit has introduced three new wearables to their lineup which includes the premium Fitbit Sense, midrange Versa 3, and affordable Inspire 2.

Fitbit Sense

This is the brand’s flagship offering; and although it sports a familiar look, it sets itself apart with new health tracking features such as an EDA (electrodermal activity) sensor which detects stress levels with a simple scan. A user simply needs to hold their palm over the watch face and breath normally – the watch then detects small electrical changes in the sweat level of your skin to give you a result. From there, simply refer to the Stress Management Score (which factors in sleep, heat rate and activity data) to see how well you’re doing mentally.

Besides stress tracking, the Fitbit Sense also comes with an ECG feature that accesses your heart rhythm for signs of an irregular heart rate. Coupled with Fitbit’s new PurePulse 2.0 multi-path heart rate sensor, the Sense offers personalized high and low heart rate notifications with 24/7 tracking.

On the activity and fitness front, Fitbit Sense is no slouch either – it comes with on-board GPS, over 20 exercise modes, SmartTrack for automatic activity tracking, cardio fitness level and score, sleep tolls, and much more. The watch is water-resistant up to 50M and has a battery life of at least six days, and a new snap-on magnetic charging feature.

The Versa 3 improves on its predecessor with Google Assistant support alongside an on-device GPS, in-app workout intensity map, better PurePulse 2.0 heart rate tracking technology, and more.

There’s a built-in speaker and microphone so you can answer or make calls on your watch. Speaking of speakers, you can also play music with partner app Spotify.

The Versa 3 also offers at least 6 days of battery life and also charges via the same snap-on magnetic charger as the Fitbit Sense.

Fitbit Inspire 2

This is the most affordable entry in the lineup and it now comes with Active Zone Minutes, a new slim design, brighter screen, and up to 10 days of battery life.

There’s 24/7 heart rate tracking, over 20 exercise modes, sleep and menstrual cycle tracking, and much more.

The Fitbit Sense is priced at RM1,498, the Versa 3 at RM1,148, and the Inspire 2 for RM498. Fitbit expects the worldwide release of the watches to come this October – for more information on the new products, visit Fitbit’s website here.
