OPPO has brought a mid-range addition to the Reno5 series in the Reno5 F – priced at just RM1,199, it’s the also the most affordable model in the lineup. Watch our unboxing here:
One of its biggest selling points of the phone is its 6.43-inch AMOLED panel that pushes a FHD+ resolution – a neat feature to have in a phone priced this affordably.
For imaging, the phone packs a 48MP quad-camera along with an 8MP ultrawide lens, a macro shooter, and a mono camera. For selfies, you get a 32MP camera.
In terms of camera software features, you get OPPO’s signature AI colour portrait that retains the colour of the subject, while turning the background black and white; there’s also Monochrome Video that further lets you isolate Red, Blue, Green, while once again turning the background black and white.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio P95 along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. This combination will allow you to browse social media and play well-optimized games without any slowdown.
Powering the phone is a 4,310mAh battery along with 30W of fast charging, which OPPO claims can fully charge the Reno5 F in 56 minutes.
