Nothing has officially expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the new Phone (4b), introducing an even more affordable option beneath its Phone (4a) series. Despite its lower price point, the Phone (4b) retains many of the brand’s signature design elements while bringing a smooth OLED display, Snapdragon performance, AI-powered software features and long battery life to users looking for a stylish mid-range smartphone. The device was unveiled globally on 7 July and will go on sale beginning 17 July, although Malaysia availability has yet to be announced.
Familiar Nothing Design With Smooth OLED Display

The Phone (4b) continues Nothing’s distinctive transparent-inspired design language, featuring a refined plastic unibody construction paired with the company’s updated Glyph Bar LED notification system. Available in Black, White and Blue, the smartphone also carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes, making it more durable for everyday use.
On the front, the Phone (4b) features a 6.77-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling, gaming and animations. The high-refresh-rate panel is designed to deliver a fluid user experience while maintaining vibrant colours and deep contrast that Nothing’s OLED displays have become known for.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Delivers Reliable Everyday Performance
Powering the Phone (4b) is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The chipset is designed to handle everyday multitasking, social media, streaming and mobile gaming while offering improved power efficiency compared to previous-generation hardware.
The smartphone ships with Android 16 running Nothing OS, offering the company’s clean software experience alongside Essential AI features that help users organise information and improve productivity. Nothing has also committed to three years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches, extending the device’s lifespan well beyond the typical support offered in its price segment. 50MP Camera and Long-Lasting Battery

Photography is handled by a dual rear camera system headlined by a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), accompanied by an ultra-wide camera for capturing wider scenes. The camera setup is designed to deliver sharp everyday photos while benefiting from Nothing’s computational imaging software.
Battery life is another major highlight of the Phone (4b). The global model packs a 5,200mAh battery, while selected markets such as India receive a larger 6,000mAh battery. Combined with the power-efficient Snapdragon chipset, Nothing says the device is capable of comfortably lasting through a full day of heavy use.
Pricing and Availability

The Nothing Phone (4b) will officially go on sale globally from 17 July with pricing starting at £299 (€329) for international markets. In India, the smartphone starts at ₹29,999, while pricing and availability for Malaysia have yet to be confirmed.
With the Phone (4b), Nothing is targeting users who want the brand’s distinctive design language and clean software experience without stepping into premium pricing. Featuring a 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 performance, a capable 50MP camera and long software support, the Phone (4b) strengthens Nothing’s growing portfolio in the affordable smartphone segment while maintaining the unique identity that has helped the brand stand out in recent years.
