Its very common that there’s people who likes to stay in and surf on the web watching their favorite movies and dramas online. With so many free downloads for movies online, its no wonder why there are increasingly more websites that showcases all kinds of movies and dramas online for those who loves binge watching.

One of the most well known website for movies and dramas would be “Netflix”. A one stop platform for those who wants to watch twenty episodes of TV series online or simply just for a movie. Netflix have recently announced that they are now testing Netflix streaming on mobile phones where users could be a part of this test by signing up and purchase a one month plan for just RM17.

By signing up for the one month plan on Netflix’s mobile only test, subscribers are entitled to get unlimited access to movies and TV series available in the app but they could only stream on either mobile phones or tablets. It seems like a great deal, but one of the downside of the one month plan is the fact that the contents will only be available in standard definition (SD) and not in high definition (HD).

For users who are more keen to watch Netflix via laptop or television, they would have to opt for Netflix’s Basic plan which will cost RM33 a month. Similarly like the mobile version, Netflix’s basic plan displays standard definition and one screen at a time. However, there are also other options that users could choose from such as the Standard plan which allows users to view content in high definition and on “two” screens simultaneously for RM42 and there’s also a Premium plan which shows content in both high definition and ultra high definition along with the ability to view up to four screens at the same time for RM51.

If you’re interested to try out the new mobile only plan which is still on its test phase, you would have to view it on Netflix mobile app or on Netflix’s website on your smart phone. The option would not appear on screen if you’re viewing it on desktop or laptop. It is said that this move has been made in line with Netflix’s recent announcement to test lower priced subscription plans to attract more users in Asia.
