Razer has introduced the Reclusa X Mini 65%, a compact mechanical gaming keyboard aimed at players who want a tuned typing experience without giving up the option to customise their board later. Priced at RM239 in Malaysia, it is available now through Razer.com and RazerStores, with local retailers expected to carry it soon.
A compact keyboard designed for customisation
The Reclusa X Mini 65% is the first model in Razer’s new Reclusa keyboard family. Its 65% layout removes the number pad and trims down the navigation cluster while retaining dedicated arrow keys, making it a practical option for smaller desks and gaming setups where mouse space matters.
Razer equips the keyboard with its Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches Gen-3, which are intended to provide noticeable tactile feedback without the sharper sound associated with clicky switches. Dual-layer silicone dampening is used to control unwanted resonance, while tri-tone doubleshot ABS keycaps give the board a more distinctive appearance out of the box.
Users who want a different typing feel can swap the switches without soldering. The hot-swappable PCB supports most 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, giving owners room to experiment with linear, tactile or clicky options. South-facing LEDs improve compatibility with alternative keycap profiles, while per-key Razer Chroma RGB lighting handles visual customisation.
Gaming controls in a 65% layout
Although the Reclusa X Mini 65% leans into the enthusiast keyboard market, it still includes Razer’s gaming-focused features. Snap Tap is designed to prioritise the latest directional input when two opposing keys are pressed, while Snap Flex and Dual-Keypress Priority give players additional control over how simultaneous inputs are registered.
Razer says the keyboard is intended to feel complete from the first day while remaining a platform owners can modify over time. That approach places it between a conventional pre-built gaming keyboard and a fully custom mechanical board, with a relatively accessible RM239 asking price.
Malaysia price and availability
The Razer Reclusa X Mini 65% carries an official Malaysian retail price of RM239. It is available now from Razer.com and RazerStores, and will arrive at local retailers soon. Razer has not provided a specific retail rollout date in the announcement.
