Last year we’ve seen several foldable smartphones; this year, Lenovo unveiled its foldable laptop — first previewed in May 2019.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold is a laptop with a 13.3-inch folding OLED display. While conventional laptops are going with narrow bezels, the foldable PC has surprisingly thick bezels that aren’t really appealing.

Now, one might wonder, “What about the keyboard?”. Well, Lenovo also made the Bluetooth Mini Fold Keyboard that will go onto one of the display when it’s folded, so you can still use the device as a normal laptop. When you fold the X1 Fold completely, the keyboard will sit between the two displays (or one, I supposed) and wireless charge.

Of course, if you not going for portability and prefer efficiency in a working environment, you can also use the full display while connecting a full-size keyboard, mouse and a second display to the device. The foldable laptop will be powered by an Intel Core processor with Intel Hybrid technology, in addition to getting 8GB RAM and up to 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. Just like the new ThinkPad X1 Yoga and X1 Carbon, the X1 Fold also supports 65W Rapid Charge.

Starting at $2,499, the ThinkPad X1 Fold expected to ship with Windows 10 in mid-2020 and Windows 10X at a later date.
