After a month, we finally have more news on the upcoming HTC U12 phone which in a previous writing, we mentioned that the phone might come with 5G connectivity. Even if that is not confirmed, we got a pretty solid leak on the specs of the phone.
Leaker LlabTooFeR has shared the specs of the U12 on Twitter, revealing details like 256GB of storage, IP68 certification, and dual rear cameras. Other than that, it looks like it is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM and a 3,420mAh battery. In this leak, we also see that it comes with some new and improved features like HTC Face Unlock, Edge Sense 2.0 and Android 8.0 with full Treble support.

When asked when was the phone going to release, the same leaker responded with “Somewhere in April…” which is quite believable as in our previous article, we have seen some phones displayed for a 5G event in Taiwan which seem to be using an unreleased HTC phone that comes with roughly the same specs as the U12.
