With Qualcomm announcing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, vivo Malaysia has let out news that the iQOO 11, its sub gaming brand smartphone, will be coming to Malaysia as the brand’s first gaming smartphone to be equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship chipset.

As of now, reports merely suggests that the phone could be equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED QHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 5000mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging, and a triple camera system that comprises a 50MP main OIS wide, 13MP 2x telephoto and 13MP ultrawide camera, which makes this a very attractive package compared to many other gaming smartphones in the market.

Aside from that, iQOO seems to have partnered with BMW Motorsport in conjunction with the launch, which we can possibly see a BMW Motorsport special edition of the device to be sold here, and hopefully, we can even see the phone itself in BMW showrooms.

Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will havwe 35% higher performance and up to 40% higher efficiency than the previous chipset, it comprises of a single Cortex-X3 based Kyro Prime core that runs at 3.2GHz, four performance cores that run at 2.8GHz and three Efficiency cores that run at 2.0GHz, the latest Adreno GPU that comes within will promise up to 25% higher performance and up to 45% higher power efficiency and for the very first time, it brings hardware accelerated ray-tracing to the Snapdragon platform.
