The HONOR 600S 5G is now available in Malaysia at RM1,299, joining the brand’s Number Series with an unusually large 8,100mAh battery and an emphasis on drop and water resistance.
Built for drops, water and long days
HONOR says the 600S can survive drops from up to 2.5 metres thanks to its Cushioning and Fall Protection Architecture. It has also received an SGS five-star all-round drop-resistance rating.
Water protection covers IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, with the company claiming resistance to water as hot as 85°C and high-humidity conditions for up to 24 hours. A wet-hand touch mode is included to keep the screen responsive when the display or the user’s fingers are damp.
The 8,100mAh battery supports 45W HONOR SuperCharge. HONOR rates it for more than 21 hours of continuous social-video playback or over 15 hours of gaming, with a multi-point temperature monitoring system designed to keep the phone operating between -30°C and 50°C.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 and 256GB storage
Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor. The Malaysian model comes with 4GB of physical RAM, supplemented by 8GB of HONOR Turbo RAM, and 256GB of storage. Other features highlighted by HONOR include dual speakers with a claimed 400% volume mode and NFC access.
Malaysia price and launch offers
The HONOR 600S is sold in Desert Gold and Velvet Black through HONOR Experience Stores, authorised partners, online channels and selected telcos. The RM1,299 phone comes with a bundle valued at RM199, comprising a one-year extended warranty and an RM100 instant rebate, subject to the campaign’s terms.
Selected postpaid plans also offer the device at a subsidised price. HONOR lists it as free with CelcomDigi Pakej MegaJimat and U Mobile Ultra Global 98, RM59 with Maxis Postpaid 109, or RM67 per month with Yes Infiniti+ Basic. Plan commitments and eligibility conditions apply, and HONOR did not specify the contract duration in its release.
