The moment has come for an affordable flip style foldable phone, as Tecno Malaysia has officially introduced the Phantom V Flip in Malaysia at a very attractive price tag of RM2,999, pre-orders have begun at Tecno’s official Shopee store and for a limited time from 5-7 October 2023, the phone can be purchased at just RM2,899 while you get a free Tecno Spark Go smartphone worth RM299 while stocks lasts.
As reported earlier, the Tecno Phantom V Flip is powered by a mid-range Mediatek Dimensity 8050 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and despite that, it still manages to pack a large 6.9-inch LTPO 120Hz AMOLED display when unfolded and a 1.32-inch circular cover display, a dual camera setup with 64MP main and 13MP ultra-wide cameras, 32MP front camera, and 4000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
The Tecno Phantom V Flip will run Android 13 out of the box with no official commitment to major OS upgrades, but at the very least we expect Tecno to still offer one major OS upgrade during the ownership.
