The Samsung Webcam Monitor S4 (S40VA) is a 24-inch display that has a pop-up 2MP FHD infrared camera tucked neatly on the top of the monitor – once engaged, the webcam will be anbled, allowing you quickly hop into that conference meeting without messing about with wires and software.

The webcam can also be used for biometric Windows Hello login, which is a neat feature to have especially on your work desktop.

The monitor outputs at FHD resolution and offers a 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle, plus it supports Samsung’s flicker-free and low blue light features.

The display pushes a 75Hz frame rate too so general scrolling feels smoother, and there’s AMD FreeSync too for gaming.

In terms of I/O ports, you get 3x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, 1x DP 1.2, 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x audio out, and 1x VGA port.

You can hook it up to a wall, or the provided stand, and a hinge that tilts, swivels, and pivots.

The Samsung Webcam Monitor S4 is priced at $319 (about RM1,327) – although we do not know the official local pricing yet, the device should be arriving to the Southeast Asia region soon, so we should know soon enough.
