POCO, the sub brand under Xiaomi, has launched a new value entry-level phone called the POCO C65, and while it isn’t the most exciting phone for the brand, it will most definitely attract those looking for a secondary smartphone or buying for kids and seniors.
The POCO C65 features a slightly updated design to its predecessor – the POCO C55, featuring the same squarish design on the back with a large POCO branding and a dual camera setup. Powering the phone is the same Mediatek Helio G85 processor as the previous model, it is available in storage configurations of 6GB RAM+128GB Storage and 8GB RAM+256GB Storage.
The major upgrade on the POCO C65 will be its large 6.74-inch display that now supports 90Hz refresh rate, it is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass that will minimize the risk of scratches and cracks if you aren’t a careful user. Also, the POCO C65 features a 50MP main camera that’s supported by a 2MP macro camera, an 8MP camera takes care of selfies and interestingly, it has a soft light ring that creates a natural light effect in low light.
Power wise, the POCO C65 has a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging, which should easily offer up to two days of moderate usage.
The POCO C65 is available in colors of Black, Blue and Purple and will start at RM499. For a limited time till 15th November, the POCO C65 can be purchased for the price of RM449 for the 6GB+128GB variant on Lazada, and RM549 for the 8GB+256GB variant on Shopee.
