If you thought the GTX 1080 was as high as Nvidia is going to go when it comes to graphics card, you have just been proven wrong as the graphics card makers have announced the Pascal-based Titan X.

Dubbed by Nvidia as “the biggest GPU ever built”, this new version of the Titan X comes with 12 billion transistors. It is based on Nvidia’s Pascal architecture and will come with 12GB of GDDR5X memory, and 3,584 CUDA cores at 1.53GHz, delivering an estimated 11 teraflops of performance.

While this makes the Titan X the single most powerful graphics card available to date, that level of performance comes with an equally asking pricetag. The Titan X will retail for USD 1,200 (RM 4,882), so if you’re looking to actually get one, be prepared to fast for the next few months or so, or get lucky in the lottery. The Titan X will be available for purchase in Europe and North America on the 2nd of August. Asia will get the Titan X at a later date.
