ZTE’s subsidiary company Nubia has been playing its cards well lately. Just a month ago, the manufacturer launched the first ever Snapdragon 835 smartphone with a whopping 8GB of RAM – the Nubia Z17. The Nubia M2 has also recently been launched in Malaysia, and now we have the Nubia N2.

Unveiled in India, the Nubia N2 basically focuses on battery life, alongside Nubia’s NeoPower technology. But first, the Nubia N2 sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display on the front under 2.5D curved glass. MediaTek finds a spot in its internals, featuring a MediaTek MT 6750 chipset, plus 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Given its entry level to mid range specs so far, 64GB of internal storage alongside the ample 4GB memory sounds like a plus. Storage can be further expanded via the micro SD slot.

The rear camera of the Nubia N2 is a 13MP Sony PDAF sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front facing shooter is of Samsung instead – a 16MP fixed focus wide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.0. As the title states, the battery of the Nubia N2 is of a huge 5,000mAh. The NeoPower technology by Nubia allows the N2 to give out up to 11 hours of video streaming on a single charge. One letdown of the phone is that it runs on the ancient Android Marshmallow, considering that Android O has already been announced.

With a battery as huge as that, the Nubia N2 is definitely an excellent addition to Nubia’s existing devices like the M2 and the Z17. The phone will likely remain exclusive to India via Amazon for the time being.
