Ever wanted to get your hands on the HoloLens? Well, we have some good news for you as Microsoft is now selling the Development Edition of the HoloLens to everyone. The bad news? You’re going to need to be in the U.S. or Canada to get it. The worse news? It’s going to cost you USD3,000 to get it.

Initially available to only selected developers who have applied for it, Microsoft is now opening up sales of the HoloLens Development Edition. While the HoloLens for sale isn’t exactly a consumer version, Microsoft will not be stopping regular joes from getting their hands on the HoloLens themselves. However, if you actually want to get a unit for yourself, be prepared to shell out USD3,000 (RM12,147) for it. One person is allow to get five units of the HoloLens in a single order, but seeing as the headset isn’t exactly affordable, it is highly unlikely that any single individual would do so.

Coinciding with Microsoft opening the HoloLens Development Edition for purchase, the company has also launched the HoloLens Commercial Suite. This suite includes the HoloLens itself, as well as additional enterprise security and device management features.
