It was around six months ago when LG first launched its mobile payment system, LG Pay. The payment system currently still remains limited to its home soil South Korea, being supported only on the company’s range of high end flagships such as the LG G6 and the LG V30. According to South Korean local news outlet ET News, LG is set to launch a mid range smartphone that will support LG Pay.

The report indicates that LG will be unveiling the LG K10 (2018) at CES 2018, which will be the first tech showcase that kicks off the year. It will be the first mid range device that comes with support for LG Pay. It is tipped to sport a 5.3-inch Full HD display, but chances of its adopting LG’s FullVision screen is unlikely. The LG K10 (2018) is rumored to pack 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 3,000mAh battery. The cameras will be of a standard 13MP for the rear and 5MP for the selfie shooter.

The LG K10 (2018) will also have a rear fingerprint sensor, along with FM radio support, which is rarely found on smartphones nowadays. It will also be a tad slimmer compared to the current LG K10. CES 2018 is just around the corner. What are you looking forward to in 2018?
