Chinese phones are often known to be promoted with various gimmicks to further boost its popularity among standard consumers and fans alike. Among the tactics for gimmicks are celebrity limited edition smartphones, and that is what Xiaomi is doing for its Mi 6 flagship. If you are a diehard Jackie Chan fan, you might want to get your hands on this one.
The Jackie Chan limited edition Mi 6 device is definitely similar to the standard model of the handset. Like most celebrity limited edition devices, this Mi 6 comes with a customized packaging for Jackie Chan fanatics. Based on the image above courtesy of GizmoChina, the Mi 6 comes in a specially designed box with Jackie Chan’s autograph stamped on the front.
The box also looks stylish with a kung fu-like touch to it. The device itself wasn’t revealed but it is likely that it is the exact same Mi 6, apart from possibilities that it will feature a Jackie Chan theme, along with a series of new wallpapers. Besides that, the phone will likely be identical spec-wise as well.
Just to recap, the Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a 5.15-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It has a dual camera setup this time of 12MP sensors. Will you be interested in getting a Jackie Chan themed phone?
